While I’m nursing, I am always looking for ways to get all of the nutrients without eating a ton of foods (that I mostly don’t like). I was introduced to Shakeology a couple of months ago and was hesitant at first because I don’t normally like protein shakes. I got the vegan option and finally tried it. I LOVED it! Laikyn loves it too and steals sips (or the whole shake) from me. There are two vegan options that are without whey protein (which is dairy): strawberry and chocolate. I really love the chocolate most, so I wanted to share the recipe for what I did.
Chocolate PB Banana Shakeology
1 Banana
1 cup Almond Milk
1 packet chocolate Shakeology
2 tablespoons peanut butter powder
1 cup ice
Blend & serve. I love to put mine in mason jars and use these Bubba straws (they are perfect smoothie size).
