How did 2017 come and go so quickly? It’s almost New Years, and we’re sharing our sparkly but still comfortable outfits today! I LOVE a good sparkle, but being comfortable with kids and moms chasing the kids is SUPER important!

Lately, comfort trumps all things! I’d rather be comfortable and my kids stay comfortable than be all dressed up in the cooler weather. If they’re not happy…no one is happy! Luckily, I’ve found the cutest and most festive New Years outfits that are actually comfortable at Nordstrom. I love all of the brands they carry for my kids because I know the quality is good, they’re soft and comfortable and always on trend.
We don’t have big plans for New Years, but it’s always fun to be festive! My husband runs a cotton gin, so this is still his extremely busy season (hoping to be finished in about a month) so I’m solo with the girls on this holiday! We will still have fun, bake some treats, have hot chocolate and stay up late to ring in the new year! Last year, we were all sick so we had to stay in and forgo a friend’s party, so this year I’m hoping we’re all well and can have some fun!
What do you do with your kids for New Years? Do you get a sitter and go out? We have done different things each year dependent on what is going on, but for the last few years after having the girls we are just happy to be home and piled in our bed watching movies until the ball drops!
