WHHHHYYY do the months just have to fly by?! Lennyn keeps getting bigger and growing right before my eyes and while I love the new stages, I can’t help but already miss the last stage she was in! It’s so fun to watch my two girls. The love they have for each other already is unreal. God really knows what He’s doing when he gives us babies, that’s for sure!
Age :: 5 months
Length :: 24 inches
Weight :: 15 lbs 9 oz ~ chunkkkky monkey
Milestones :: Sitting with assistance, rolling front to back and back to front, scooting like crazy, self soothing like a champ (putting herself to sleep for naps and bedtime), playing with toys, really watching and learning, putting hands and feet in mouth, loves the baby in the mirror, “talking” like crazy and gets super loud!
Sleep :: She’s such a good sleeper! I’m praying I don’t even have to sleep train her like we did big sissy (we used Sleep Easy Solution). I’m single-moming it this month while daddy is busy ginning, so she is going down at the same time as LC (8pm) and sleeps until anywhere from 4:30-6am, eats and then goes back to sleep until 8:30-9. Today she slept until 9:45! She’s a fast eater so I’m really getting some pretty good sleep. For naps, she usually takes her first nap in her swing, then a long afternoon nap when sister does (we try to anyway) and then a cat nap around 5-6 while I’m making supper.
Favorites :: bath time, being outside, swinging, looking at the fan and lights, loves the abc wall in her room-she’s started to scratch the wall and laugh at it, nursing & mommy’s milk, smiling at anyone that talks to her, watching sissy, laughing, the silly toy monkey, the playmat, her blankies, chewing on things, tummy sleeping
Doesn’t like :: her carseat, sleeping on her back, cold teething toys
Firsts :: Halloween (10/31), Weekend with Daddy while Mommy was away (10/16), trip to the state fair (10/10)
Clothes: 3-6 in Kickee, 6 months in most and some 6-9 month // Size 2 diapers // fits in her size 1 FP moccs!

She is such a joy to our family! Seriously not a moment goes by when she’s not smiling or laughing. She is the happiest baby of all time! Such a huge blessing and a dream baby. Love her so!!
