I’ve been getting so many questions about how I tie my tees in knots to look like this, so I’m finally doing this little video for yall! It’s really easy once you get the hang of it, so I hope this is helpful for you!

HOW TO TIE A KNOT IN YOUR TEE
This is the way I tie knots in my tees, but I know there is probably so many ways to do this! This is just what works for me! This tee is the best for tying because it’s a bit oversized. This will work with any tee if you just size up!
Step by Step
- Gather the middle of your tee into a “ponytail.”
- Pull it out to give you some material to work with.
- Wrap the material around your pointer and middle finger to make a hole.
- Pull the tail through the middle of the hole
- Tighten into a knot.
- Pull on the edges of the untied tee to make it more messy and undone.
- That’s it! Now you have a messy knot in your tee! You can do this in the middle or the side, depending on where you want the knot!
I love to throw on a vest or cardigan when having my tee tied in a knot! You can always wear it alone, too! It just gives it a little something extra when wearing a simple tee!
These are my favorite tees to tie! I am wearing size XS, but you could size down for a tighter fit! I like it to fit loose and easy to tie! It comes in 6 colors and is only $19, too! I currently own two of the colors and am thinking I need to get another one, too! They’re the BEST!
