We’re down to the wire, but we still have some time to get those gifts that last for kids in! I personally don’t love buying a bunch of gifts for my kids, but would rather spend a little bit more on items that last!

We try to get our kids each something to wear (usually Northface or Patagonia jackets) and a pair of boots (usually UGGs or Hunter boots), then something they want, something they need and also something to read! 4 gifts are given by us as parents to our kiddos, and then Santa comes to leave what they asked for (if they were good little girls). 😉
Actually, these jackets were gifts from last year. Laikyn is wearing her cousin’s passed down to her and Lennyn is wearing Laikyn’s from last year. It works when you have two girls and buy jackets that last! This year, we grabbed these reversible jackets to put under the tree so they will last for a few more years!
Hunter Boots are another tried and true of ours. I swear these things last for YEARS even when I’ve thought they outgrew them. I have had the same 3 pairs for them that have worked for each year. I would size down one size unless you want to wear them for years. I actually am wearing the kids size as well, if you are a size 6 in women – size 4 in kids is a perfect fit! Just a little money-saving tip for ya! 😉
Nordstrom always carries everything we need and has been a tried and trusted for me for several years. I know that I can always count on their shipping dates to be accurate, for them to have what I need and for the ease of returns if needed. I actually do most of my holiday shopping online, and Nordstrom is my number 1 retailer of choice! I always look to see if they carry what I need first!
If you haven’t finished your shopping yet or feel like you want to get your kiddos something that will last – definitely look to Nordstrom to help you out! I know lots of kiddos that would love to have these under the tree. If you aren’t sure about brands that they carry, feel free to reach out and ask! I’d love to hear from you and help you out!
My sweet girls and I have a few things to do this week before we can just relax and enjoy! Wrapping presents and cleaning house is number 1 on our to-do list, but then it’s time to bake Christmas goodies, write letters to Santa and the Elves, watch holiday movies and RELAX!!
(I really wanted to caption this – WHAT?! You told Santa about my day!? — ha!!)
I hope you all have the best Monday followed by a week full of fun and holiday cheer! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help finishing that last minute Christmas shopping! I am here and happy to help!
To ensure holiday delivery, choose 2-day or overnight shipping at checkout. It is a bit more money, but better safe than sorry! Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns as well as free curbside and in-store pickup for online purchases! Win-win all around!
