My favorite time of the year is here, fall and football! Football means pizza parties and sweat pants, cuddling and the girls playing while we watch the game! Papa Johns is making our latest family pizza party a hit! What’s better than a little Sunday Night Football, Fantasy Football and kids running and playing while you watch? Well, maybe an added draft or two….
What is your favorite team to watch? My husband plays Fantasy Football, so we keep up with most of the games. He tries to explain to me all of the details and what is going on, but let’s be honest, I’m here for the food. I LOVE pizza and somehow pizza and football just go together.
I grew up watching and going to football games. My sister cheered football in high school while I was in elementary school, so I wanted to be just like her and cheer too! I cheered all the way through high school and college, so football was just a huge part of my weekends. Cheering and watching the games don’t have the same feelings. I miss those cheer days of being solid football, but I do enjoy our the way football days look now, too!
I wanted to share our latest pizza party with the girls because it’s chaotic and colorful & fun and messy. It’s everything I imagined having kids to be! Life changes with each season of football, the kids are a little older. The house is a little more homey (and by that I mean messier) and our hearts become a little more full each year.
Football is about much more than watching a game. It’s about fellowship. It’s about traditions. It’s about learning and watching. Thank you to Papa Johns for allowing us to fellowship as a family and providing us with the best pizza there is!
