Tonight, we cooked a meal to take food to a family and just made ours alongside as well! It was easy to just split everything in half, especially since pork tenderloin comes in a package of 2. We just kept one for ourselves and gave the other away.
So, are you ready to see how the easiest pork tenderloin becomes the family favorite? It’s simple, so yummy and everyone loves it! Win-Win!
You will need:
a shallow baking pan
1 pack of tenderloins (comes with 2 tenderloins to one package)
1 stick of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
Seasonings (oregano, parsley, onion salt and pepper)
Foil
First, line the shallow pan (I just used a cookie sheet) with foil.
This makes it 100 times easier to clean up when you’re finished eating. PROMISE. Take the tenderloins out of the package and place on foil. Melt butter and brown sugar in a microwave safe bowl until it’s a liquid. Whisk brown sugar and butter mixture until it makes a sauce.
Pour over each tenderloin and brush on, but you still should have 1/2 of the sauce left. Sprinkle seasonings, flip the tenderloins and repeat. Simple? Yep! Super easy.
Now bake on 425 degrees for 45 minutes or until tenderloins are cooked through.
I served it with potatoes, peppers and onion mixture tonight. That’s super easy as well, just cut up potatoes, red/yellow/orange/green peppers and an onion. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake alongside the tenderloin at 425 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
Voila! Easiest recipe ever.
What meal to do you make to take away to a family? I hadn’t done this one before, but it will definitely be my go-to from now on! It would be easy to prepare before and just pop it in the oven, also! Mmmm….too bad there weren’t any leftovers. I guess I’ll have to settle for Oreos.
