Second Trimester was probably my favorite…so many things are happening that are finally making you feel pregnant! I finally started to have/show a baby bump and was feeling better by about week 18, so second trimester was great for me! In fact, it FLEW by! Here were my favorites!
Boppy Pregnancy Pillow — this helped my growing bump and helped me sleep! I STILL am having no trouble sleeping at 38 weeks. This thing is amazing!
Bath Time — I missed taking baths in the first trimester (they say not to because it increases risk of infection) so I took advantage of it during the second trimester. I took at least 3-4 baths a week. Just remember not to add anything that is going to irritate your skin. I liked adding epsom salt because it helped my aching back!
Drink — Coca Cola Icee. Nuff said.
Redefine Regimen by Rodan and Fields — I started using this again in my second trimester because my skin was getting dull. It instantly became radiant again and I truly was GLOWING. I didn’t have an issue with acne like some women do in pregnancy, but if you do, I recommend the Unblemish regimen. Women are seeing fabulous results in little time and feeling great in their pregnant skin. There is also one for sensitive skin called Soothe. I’ve used all of these and they are safe for pregnant and nursing women. If you get the Unblemish, make sure to get the clarifying toner instead of the spot fading toner while pregnant or nursing! LOVE these products!
Spray Tan in a Can — I was itching to get into the sun as spring came around. I didn’t have time (or money) to get spray tans weekly, so my mom introduced me to this miracle. I spray my face and chest once a week and then I don’t have to wear make up! This stuff is amazing and it doesn’t even smell like a spray tan!
EOS Lip Balm — I have one of these in every room. My lips were soooo chapped and this stuff is great!
Skinny Belts — These were my go-to since I didn’t have a very big bump for so long. I wanted everyone to know I wasn’t just chubby, that there was actually a bump under there…so I seriously skinny belted everything! And, this allowed me to wear my normal clothes and not buy maternity!
Belly Band — I put these under ALL of my shirts especially when I was rubber-banding my pants to fit. It covers the parts we don’t want seen and is so comfortable!
Sparkly Green Earrings — I read this and finished it in one day. It is a precious story from a mom. Definitely read it if you are a mom or a mom-to-be. It’s such a sweet story that will help prepare you for motherhood!
