- How far along?: 8 weeks 4 days
- Baby is the size of a: Raspberry (according to WTE Pregnancy)
- Total weight gain/loss: I actually lost a pound this week, so -1
- The Bump: I’m seeing it more and more…but I know it’s just bloat and not actual baby. I’m looking the exact same as I did with my first pregnancy! Left is LC and right is baby 2!
- Symptoms: I’ve been sick twice. Other than that, just super tired! Just soooo very thankful I’m not sick daily like I was with LC!
- Food Cravings: ABSOLUTELY NO MEAT. So weird. I’ve loved Root Beer and pickles more than normal this week, too.
- Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: MEAT. Gross.
- Sleep: If I don’t get a nap, I’m fighting to keep my eyes open through supper. I usually take at least one nap while Laikyn sleeps. I have gotten absolutely nothing done that I need to!
- What I miss: I craved red beer this week. I guess I’ll have to mix clamato with Odoull’s haha!
- Weddings Rings On or Off: on 🙂
- Any Names Picked Out Yet: I have a few that I love, but getting hubby to agree will be the hardest part! And, I’m sure it’ll change.
- Gender: We decided to find out the gender so we can plan. I’m such a planner! We will find out by sonogram at 15 weeks at the latest, or by blood test in a few weeks! It’s still up in the air!
- Movement: Does gas count? Nope?
- Maternity Clothes: Just in all regular clothes!
- Labor Signs: no way!
- Best Moment of the Week: We told the rest of our family and announced on FB and Instagram! It feels so good for everyone to know that our little family is growing! Laikyn and I also traveled with my family this week to Austin and Fredericksburg to accept an award given to my family for land heritage. 100 years of Kuhlman land, wow!!! Oh, and I found baby’s N’s heartbeat on the at home doppler!!! YAY! It ranged from 117-135 and was the sweetest sound! 🙂
- What I’m excited about/looking forward to: I have a dr’s appointment next week so hopefully they will find the heartbeat and make sure everything is good. They won’t schedule another sonogram for us until 20 weeks, so that’s a bummer! Also, Holiday Happening is in Lubbock next week..that always gets me in the Christmas spirit! Can’t wait to start decorating and celebrating!
