- How far along?: 35 weeks + 6 days
- Baby is the size of a: canary melon — whatever the heck that is! (19-22 in, 5.5 lbs) (according to WTE Pregnancy)
- Total weight gain/loss: +24 lbs…at the dr office at my 35 week check (hey, I’ll take it!)
- Stretch Marks? Pretttyyyyy please NO!!
- The Bump: today I was told that I look big enough to have the baby….haha. Thanks?
- Symptoms: making all sorts of sound effects as I bend over to pick something up off the ground. I’d say that’s a sure sign it’s time to have this baby!
- Food cravings: coconut shrimp, spa water, any kind of tea, candy – so bad.
- Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: nope!
- Sleep: getting harder to sleep through BH contractions and getting up to pee still. Fighting some allergies lately
- What I miss: a skinny, non-pregnant face & the luxury of taking my rings off and on
- Weddings Rings On or Off: on, definitely stuck.
- Any Names Picked Out Yet: first name, check. Middle, not so much. Subject to change so we aren’t telling anyone!
- Gender: PINK!
- Movement: Feeling body parts and limbs! Movement is slower and people can see my belly move from across the room. Ha!
- Maternity Clothes: just some pants/shorts and mostly loose tops that I’ve sized up in. Gimme all the maxi dresses, too.
- Labor Signs: just lots of BH contractions, some real contractions just not consistent. Was dilated to 1 cm at my 35 week check
- Best Moment of the week: starting to realize that my baby will be here in less than 4 weeks!
- Feeling: emotional
- What I’m excited about/looking forward to: Seeing my first baby as a big sister!!! Holding my baby. Nursing. So many things!!!! Can’t wait for her to be here!
LC had her first tummy bug over the weekend so that was no fun. I was so thankful to be at my mom’s house and not home alone since Brett was gone. I had some pretty heavy contractions that next day but I think it was stress. Thank goodness they calmed down and I’m just having BH again! Go back to the dr on Thursday for Strep B test and another cervix check. C Section is scheduled for June 10th unless she comes before!!
