Lily Jade | Review

Lily Jade: The Bag That is EVERYTHING. Literally, everything you could ever want in a diaper bag, this is it.  I’ve been through a few diaper bags in my couple of years in motherhood. Before I became a mom,  I always said I would never carry a diaper bag that sacrificed my style.  So, I’ve done my best to do that.  I started with some designer bags, which I loved but they were lacking in space. They were constantly overflowing and I couldn’t find anything in the bag.  Then I got pregnant with my second babe, and knew I was going to need a cross body or backpack to juggle the two babies.  I settled on a 3-in-1 bag which was versatile and had the space I was wanting, but it was really putting a damper on my style.  While I have enjoyed the bags that I’ve had, I was still on the search for the PERFECT bag.

Lily Jade has done it for me.  This bag is 100% real leather. It’s beautiful. It’s stylish. It’s functional. It’s organized (can I get an AMEN!) and it’s convertible.  When I just have one baby with me, I use the shoulder option.  When I have both, I just have to use the backpack option for both hands to be free and ready for tiny hands and carseat carriers.

I  chose the Megann in Brandy for my bag, but seriously all of them are beautiful. The Caroline in Brandy is also a personal favorite.  This bag has the option to be a shoulder bag, backpack or cross body.  There are 3 pockets on the outsides which is something I always look for. I never lose my phone or keys because these are their designated homes.

 

One of the best features of Lily Jade bags is the “Baby Bag” that comes inside. It organizes your life for you. I mean, really. I can’t get enough organization these days and the Kindergarten teacher inside me just jumps for joy when I see my diaper bag organized!  The “Baby Bag” is removable to switch from diaper bag to another bag, or just take out to make your bag a purse (can I get a kid-free day!?).  They are machine washable (gentle cycle) and have 16(!!!) pockets – there is literally a spot for everything.  The machine washable changing pad fits perfectly in one of those pockets, and my nursing cover fits perfectly in the other side.  On the inside of the actual bag, there is a large pocket with zipper, key clip and two inner pockets in addition to the baby bag.

This diaper bag is my favorite because it’s really not a diaper bag.  It’s a time piece. It’s stylish.  It just houses all of your needs for the baby, and you, while organizing your life in little pockets and spaces.  

The Megann is big enough to house all of my everyday stuff, which is a lot for two babes and myself, and carries the perfect title as “Best Bag Ever” for my family and me.
