“Sleep When the Baby Sleeps”…I heard it when I was pregnant. I heard it after I had my first. I’m still hearing it after I’ve had my second. When do you actually get to sleep when the baby is sleeping? Are you supposed to vacuum when the baby vacuums and eat when the baby eats, too? Let’s face it, we all know momma gets the last meal, shower and only gets to lay her head down when all the house chores are done. I guess I’ll blog when the baby blogs too…we all know that’s about 1/18th of the nap times around here. SO much to do, so little sleep.
My girls are actually really good sleepers. Like, we’re blessed. I can’t complain. I just complain about what I can’t get done while they sleep! The odds are, if they’re sleeping, I’m doing laundry, cleaning up lunch or finally catching a shower. On a rare occasion, I’ll nap when they do.
Sleeping is something I always crave and never get enough of. Any other mommas out there hear me? How do you manage your time so you can rest while they do? Lennyn slept SO good in a swaddle, so I somewhat freaked when we had to move her to a sleep sack. Thankfully, with the help of the DockATot and sleep sacks, we made it.
Lennyn has been rocking this Bitta Kidda Lovie-Sack and we love it so much. It’s a soft, adorable sleep sack that has a lovey attached. She likes to roll in her sleep, so when she wakes up she is usually on her back with this lovey in her mouth. It’s so cute!
The Bitta Kidda is made out of the softest fabric that mimics a blanket for your baby. It’s so comfortable and you know that your baby is sleeping safe. Peace of mind for parents is worth all the money in the world, in my opinion, and I know that Lennyn is sleeping well and safe every night.
