I have been asked so often recently what my secret to great skin is. I usually respond with the same answer…it’s genetics! I do feel like genetics plays a huge part in how your skin looks and feels, but there are a few secrets that I can spill! I’m sharing them today in my best kept skincare secrets and I hope you can benefit from these!
I don’t feel like my secrets are that revolutionary, but I do have a few things that I swear by that often give me the best skin! I by no means have flawless skin, but I also don’t have problematic skin, so I feel like that’s a win.
Here are a few of my secrets:

Invest in Good Skincare
I love brands like Dr. Brandt because you know that the products are quality and great for you. The Do Not Age and No More Baggage lines are so great. Book Frequent Facials
I recently got a facial and before I left, booked the next one in 6 weeks. My skin has never felt better and more radiant! Estheticians specifically know what they’re doing and exactly what products / treatments your skin needs. This is a great way to practice self-care, too.

Drink Water
More often than not, you can fix skin problems by drinking extra water. Did you know your skin can actually be dehydrated when your body is not dehydrated? It’s important to drink as much water as you can! Your skin (and health) will reap the benefits for sure.

Girl, Wash Your Face
I rarely, if ever, go to sleep with makeup on my face. Even if I don’t wear makeup for the day, I almost ALWAYS wash my face before bed and then again when waking in the morning. Your pillow, pillow cases, etc even have bacteria on them so it’s important to wash your face (just as you’d brush your teeth) twice a day. My regimen looks a little different in the morning and night time routines, and it’s definitely one of my favorite things to do. I love having a fresh, clean face.

Dermaplane/Exfoliate
Getting the dead skin off of your face is going to leave it more radiant and appear less wrinkled! I love getting dermaplaned, but if that’s not an option, frequent (once a week) exfoliation is key. Try the Dr Brandt Microdermabrasion! It’s SO good.

Get Your Beauty Sleep
