This is my very last bump pic! Taken as I’m dilated to a 5 and about to get my epidural! It was just hours later when I got to meet my baby girl!
Well, I had this post ready to go the day after my due date since on my due date I was looking like poo, feeling like little Laikyn was never going to come! I went ahead and did my chalkboard on her due date and then planned on doing the picture and blogging the next day.
Laikyn had other plans for momma!
Here is my LAST pregnancy post for little Laikyn!
- How far along?: 40 weeks-due date!
- Baby is the size of a: still a watermelon (according to What to Expect App)
- Total weight gain/loss: +32
- The Bump: She’s dropped and I’m ready for a flat stomach again
- Symptoms: cramps and some minor back pain…other than that, feeling great!
- Food Cravings: hot tamales
- Anything Making Me Queasy or Sick: not this week!
- Sleep: Been sleeping good…just constantly HOT!
- What I miss: nothing…I’m going to miss sweet girl’s wiggles and kicks!
- Weddings Rings On or Off: they have been off this week…swollen hands!
- Belly Button: outie!
- Any Names Picked Out Yet: Laikyn Cree 🙂
- Gender: PINK PINK PINK!
- Movement: slowing down quite a bit
- Maternity Clothes: Still wearing both maternity and non-maternity
- Labor Signs: Dilated to 1.5 cm and 25% effaced. Our last sonogram showed that baby girl is 8lb2oz and in the 70th percentile. If we don’t have her by next Wednesday, 41 weeks, we will induce labor.
- Stretch Marks: None! Hopefully they don’t show up post-delivery!
- Best Moment of the Week: Anticipating the arrival of our baby girl!
- What I’m excited about/looking forward to: holding my baby girl in my arms and seeing what she looks like!!!!! I can’t imagine those first moments and can’t wait!!!!
