Wednesdays are typically work days for me! I work from home on writing blog posts, returning emails, finalizing contracts and working on tying other loose ends every weekday, but typically Wednesday is my day for meetings and leaving the house for work. I get questions on my blogging schedule and how I make it work with two toddlers, so I plan to do a post on that soon..but for now, I’m sharing an easy work meeting outfit for me!
I know this meeting outfit won’t work for everyone, but in a blogger’s world…it just works. I typically wear yoga pants and milk-stained shirts because #momlife on the daily, but I always feel the need to get a little cuter when I leave to meet someone in person. Meetings on the phone are great for my life, but it is nice to get out and have some interaction as well!
So here’s what I typically wear for my work meetings. I throw on a cute, but comfortable top and a nice pair of jeans (usually no distress) and some cute heels or booties! I always carry my bigger neverfull MM because I need my laptop (with this cute case) and planner in tow. Sometimes I throw in another pair of shoes like these to make the drive home instead of wearing heels all day, even for errands.
This top is my favorite, ever! I picked it up on one of my trips to Dallas and we cracked up because Jessica and I walked out of the dressing room with the same shirt on without even knowing one another picked it out! It’s versatile and can be dressed up or down. I’ve also worn it with a pair of distressed denim and sneakers. It’s an easy shirt to make work!
These jeans also have a funny story. Shanna, Jess and I are all 3 different sizes but we all tried on this pair of jeans Mott and Bow sent me and they fit and flattered all three of our figures. Isn’t that crazy?! Needless to say, the two of them bought the jeans before we could even return home from the trip! The quality is great and I reach for these when I need a good pair of dressier denim now. They’re my go-tos.
