What I’m Pinning Wednesday

I’m sure we all love & loathe Pinterest equally by now; love: for all of the great ideas & the feeling of productivity even though we never left the couch.. and loathe: for the un-productivity and all consuming time sucker that it is! I’m sure we all follow each other, but here are a few faveys that I’ve pinned this week and will be my “pinspiration” through the rest of the week!

Yummy shrimp, sausage, corn and potato kabobs. I’m a lover of all things patio/cookout oriented when the weather is as beautiful as it has been lately. The hubbs will definitely be throwin’ these bad boys on the grill soon.

Quinoa Sushi

I love, love, love me some sushi. Since we moved to Seminole, I’ve had to unvolintarily cut down majorly on my sushi intake. I’m so leery of trying sushi at new places for the fear of hugging the toilet all night…so I thought, how hard can it be to make? I’ve been unsuccessful in my endeavors thus far, but I found this easy quinoa sushi recipe on Blogilates and have been dying to try it. If you’re not familiar, quinoa is a healthy rice-like alternative. I’ve been told it is supposed to help out with migraines, so I’m gonna give it a go. I’ll let you know how this one turns out, but let me just warn you, I’m no Bakerella.

Target is seriously blowing us away with their deals this Spring! HERE is a skirt that I’m definitely in search for on my next trip to Tar-Jay. It comes in 4 different colors and is so lightweight and comfy. And, did I mention it’s only $10?!?!? Seriously, Target! Way. To. Go.

And, that’s all for today. My momma is here and we’ve got a night planned of doing what we do best :: eating ice cream & watching our shows! OTH tonight…I’m sure it’s gonna be a sob-fest like last week. AHHHHH….bittersweet.
