It’s HERE! Fast and furious, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has come again! Today is when all ambassador status and icon status can shop the sale and I’m so excited to share all of the items with you FIRST! I was so thankful to get into Nordstrom to shop the sale a couple of days early, so that I could share with all of you as soon as the sale went live! I spent SO MUCH TIME going through everything, trying it on for reference for yall and weeding through (and again, and again) my picks to make sure I’m sharing the BEST with yall.
Today I’m sharing a first look + the top 40 predicted best sellers that I believe will sell out the quickest. Use this guide as a reference as you shop, whether it’s today, tomorrow or later when public access beings on July 19th. This guide should work for all of that and I hope you will use it to benefit your shopping needs!

I wanted to share how I shop the sale in advance so you can plan! I know we don’t all plan to shop at once, so I’m here to help you decide what you need first and how to make sure you get what you need without overspending!
*A FEW TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND*
- SIGN IN to your Nordstrom account BEFORE the sale begins
- If you are planning to purchase, don’t wait! I always purchase more and then return what doesn’t work for me later. This ensures I get the size and color that I want!
- Input your Nordstrom card before hand so you aren’t entering at check out
- Make multiple purchases rather than shopping around and checking out at once. If you do that, you’ll get to your cart and items will be sold out before you checked out (this has happened to me each sale)
- Use my references to know sizing and fit to avoid returns if you aren’t sure!
I shop the sale the same way every year by using this checklist! It hasn’t failed me yet, and I hope it offers you a great guide for shopping as well! This last week, I shared all about what you need to know before shopping the sale, so check that out and then be sure to check out the 2019 catalog to preview what will be in the sale. Please keep in mind that there are SO MANY other things that will be on sale that are not included in the catalog. I’m telling you, the reasons are endless to shop this sale!
If you haven’t applied for the Nordstrom Card yet, now is the time! You will get $60 in Nordstrom Notes to help you shop the sale once approved. This is your golden ticket in to shopping the sale early, so it’s a MUST if you don’t have one yet.
Unfortunately, Nordstrom no longer offers the Nordstrom Debit Card (which is what I have) so you will have to apply for the credit card and be approved. I know you may be weary of a credit card (errrr I hear my husband saying JUST SAY NO to credit cards) and I can relate! Do what is best for YOU, but do know that if you don’t have the card then you will have to wait until July 19th to shop the sale.

Denim
These are some of my favorites from last year. Just to give you an idea, jeans that are regularly $64 will be marked down to $41 and $205 will be marked down to $129. These same jeans will return to regular price after the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is over, so shop it while you can get it on sale!
Sneakers
I typically buy my workout/running shoes during this sale because there are new releases but are on sale! Last year, I got some really great Nike shoes that I STILL wear! Loving THIS new Nike style!!
Booties/Boots
This is a HUGE one. You’re going to literally kick yourself (well, bootless…) if you don’t buy boots in this sale. I usually buy one pair of booties, one pair of OTK boots, and one pair of heeled boots.
Leggings
If you only get ONE THING in this sale; let it be Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. They are always marked down in the sale and it’s important to snag these on sale because they NEVER go back on sale! GET THE LEGGINGS!!! Zella Leggings are a MUST, too!
Dresses
Stock up on those dresses for transitioning to fall. This is probably the least on my check list as they aren’t usually as expensive as those big ticket items, but still important to look!
Designer Bag
This is the time to snag a designer bag ON SALE! Bags don’t typically go on sale, so if you see one you LOVE, it might be time to treat yourself! I spotted this Tory Burch saddle bag that is soo cute! This Clare V. snakeskin bag is going to sell out quick!
Perfume/Beauty
There are always some good anniversary sale beauty bundles. I have my eye on the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Kit. I also love this Laura Mercier eye palette! Definitely grab something and save for Christmas if you don’t need it now!
Hair Tools
The T3 blowdryer and wands are on sale! I will definitely be updating yall when the sale goes live what exactly is in the sale but there are so many good things that go on sale!
I hope I’m not overloading you with info, but I just want to be a great resource for you as you are shopping it this year! This is my third year to cover the sale and I feel like I’ve learned a little bit from each year.
