The Best Costumes of Halloween 2016

Halloween is over which means all of the trick-or-treating is done.  The candy is eaten (or hidden by parents) and we’re ready to move on to Thanksgiving.  I love the beginning of November, because that means fall is actually coming and Christmas is soon! Halloween is just a fun little holiday to celebrate with candy and fun costumes, so I wanted to share the best costumes that I’ve seen for 2016!

I’m going to start with my little mermaid and pineapple, because I’m biased! Laikyn’s mermaid costume is from Carken Design and I made Lennyn’s pineapple.  Both of their shoes are Freshly Picked moccasins.  Funny story: Laikyn opened her package that contained her costume and said…”Mommy, where are my boobies? Mermaids are supposed to have boobies.” Sooooo…off to Hobby Lobby I went to get some shells, glitter spray paint and ribbon to make her some “shell boobies” that she wore for approximately 10 minutes before they bothered her. At least they looked cute for a photo.
