Stretch Mark Regimen Reviews

I knew before I even got pregnant that I did NOT want stretch marks…didn’t even want it to be a part of my vocabulary! So, I researched and took recommendations by word of mouth on what to do. Some people say it’s genetic and other’s say it’s just if you take care of your skin. I didn’t want to get stretch marks either way…so I did everything to prevent!!

Best news is…not a stretch mark yet. Hopefully it will stay that way and hopefully they won’t magically appear after delivery.

I’ve switched between 3 different regimens and am reviewing them all for you today. I am not sponsored by any of these companies, this is just my personal opinion on these brands. Hopefully you can take something from this if you don’t want stretch marks too!

Mama Mio is from A Pea in the Pod. My mom got me all of this and I started using it in my third trimester. It has been the BEST smelling stuff I’ve found…and they told my mom that the ingredients in this stuff is better for you than what I had been using. I start out with the O*Mega Body Buff to exfoliate before I get in the shower. Straight out of the shower in the morning, I use the Tummy Rub Butter and Boob Tube. At night, after showering, I use the Tummy Rub Oil, Boob Tube and Lucky Legs for my legs and feet before getting into bed.

Zap Goodbye Stretch Marks $70

Glowology is by Noodle & Boo which is a great baby product line. It has been one of the other regimens recommended to me during my pregnancy to prevent my growing belly from having stretch marks. This stuff smells like chocolate…can be yummy or nasty depending on your pregnant nose. It was personally not my favorite, but I still used it occasionally throughout the first and second trimesters. I would use the Elasticity Oil on my belly and boobs and then the Perfecting Creme on top of it. It didn’t dry/soak in as well as I wanted it to…but I liked the smell of it.

Another plus for this regimen is that you can get it at Nordstrom, and the price point is much lower than most stretch mark regimens. Here is where you can purchase!

And, last but not least…

Mustela has been my favorite from the beginning until now. I started using it the week that I found out I was pregnant and have continued to keep switching between this and the Mama Mio regimen. The smell is less than desirable…it doesn’t really have much of a smell, but I like the way it soaks into my skin and doesn’t make me feel ‘heavy.’ I do wish there was more to this regimen than just stretch mark cream and moisturizer for the rest of your body. I wish there was something for heaviness of boobs, but this stuff DOES work. (While searching for links, I found some for BOOBS!!!!)
