Spring Overalls Review

If you haven’t noticed, overalls have made a major comeback this spring! I think they made a mini comeback last year, but THIS YEAR…they’re back for good. There are so many different overalls out there from different brands, but I wanted to review 4-5 for y’all so you don’t have to do it yourself!

This little job of mine allows me to be a bit of a personal shopper, if you will. It’s actually been my dream job as long as I can remember and if there was anyone that told me I’d be doing this for girls that I met online, I would have laughed! So crazy the way God turns your heart’s desires into an even more perfect plan! THIS is exactly what I love and enjoy doing, and it’s just a perk that it’s my “day job!”

Back to the overalls…there are lots of different fits, washes and brands out there. I took the top 4 that I had been seeing and ordered them, tried them on and am giving you a more-than-honest review of them today!

Let’s get started, shall we?

I’m 5’3”, usually size XS or 26/2

1. Madewell Overalls
Fit: Run small, order one size up. I’m wearing size small.

2. Free People Overalls

Fit: TTS, order your true size. I’m wearing size 26

3. Topshop Overalls
Fit: Relaxed, order one size down for a more fitted look. I got size 4 but would order 2 if I had to do it over.

5. American Eagle Shortalls
Fit: Run small, order one size up. I’m wearing size small.

4. American Eagle Overalls
Fit: SUPER SMALL, order 1-2 sizes up. I am wearing size 2 short.

6. Old Navy Overalls
I didn’t get to try these on but they are a really great and affordable option looking like a mix between the Madewell and Free People overalls.

The Verdict
FAVORITE: So which one is my favorite? Hands down: MADEWELL. I didn’t think that I would like these as much as the Free People ones, to be honest. I actually LOVED them way more. They hug in all of the right places and actually fit like a glove.

LEAST FAVORITE: American Eagle. I actually did not like these at all. They looked terrible on me and I think I would have needed to get a size 6 for them to actually look like I wanted them to. I don’t think that everyone will dislike them, but I just know they aren’t right for me.
