Friday, I had a fun girls afternoon with Bailey and Greleigh girl. We got a mani/pedi and just visited all afternoon. Little Gre even got her little toenails painted. Adorbs.
And then the Mister took me out on a date to see What to Expect When You’re Expecting. We thought it was pretty funny, but he was for sure weird-ed out about babies when we left. Here’s a little Friday night casual for the movies.
Saturday morning, we flew down to Santa Fe for Brett’s cousin’s wedding. His cousin, Larry Bob, is an amazing artist and his new wife, Tammy, is a photographer. It was such a unique service and reception….there is something to be said about simplicity. I had no idea how incredible his art was – check out his website.

We stayed Saturday night at Buffalo Thunder and did the Santa Fe thing. It was great to spend some time with Brett’s family. We couldn’t wait to come home to Tucker boy who was really ready for us to get home too.
Weekend out and week on.
Sneaky little Monday. You snuck up on us. I’m super glad I didn’t have a classroom full of kiddos this morning, because my tired little mind couldn’t have handled that. I do, however, have a ton on the ol’ To-Do this week.
For right now, that’s out the window and I’m relieving stress for a good couple of hours. Started the morning with a nice, cool run with Tucker Mack. He has gone into CRAY CRAY puppy mode and requires 2 runs a day. In turn, maybe this will get my fatty fatty into shape.

In other dog-news, Tucker broke his first lamp with his tail yesterday.
This resulted in one angry momma who decided that he will NOT be a house dog. We’ll see how long that lasts. Can’t stay mad at this sweet face for too long.
Continuing my stress relief with Live! with Kelly which is most likely my favorite part of staying home. That, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
Tucker is having a lazy morning after his run. |
I started back to Grad School today. After taking a year off to plan a wedding, move to a new town and start a new job, I’m back on track. Here’s to finishing strong…high hopes.
How am I going to stay off of Pinterest, Blogger, Facebook and online shopping while I am supposed to be writing Educational Research papers and taking tests? Oh, I would have never made it through undergrad with all of these addictions.
Have a little laugh at this video that NEVER gets old, and then I must say goodbye. You SNEAKY little mom!
Off to “work” I go…I think I could get used to being a housewife and lifetime student. Dear Summer, can you stay forever?

Oh baby toes!!♥ So cute! We've lost many lamps to big dogs–it is a little easier to stay mad at them when they aren't even your dog. I think Tuck is safe though with that little look on his face!

The snuck/sneaked thing had me boggled. I always use the word snuck and sneaked just doensn't always sound right. I was starting to feel extra dumb, so I hit up dicitionary.com. And you know what? it turns out that snuck is a word afterall. Maybe your computer just doesn't like the way it sounds so it's making it as no good.

wait. snuck isn't a word? my nose is still all scrunched up trying to figure this one out.
little painted toes … ahhh. there is nothing cuter.
