Ski Trip Packing List + Must-Haves

As ready as I am for spring, I am also ready to go skiing in Colorado next week! It’s been a couple of years since I’ve snow skied, but we usually go at least once a year so I wanted to share my usual packing list and what I MUST have when I go!

I am not a terrible skier; I grew up skiing since I was little so I can usually hang with the guys, but by the afternoon I’m ready to warm up and have a drink! We might even try to sneak in a spa trip while there! We’re headed to Breckenridge next week, and it’s one of my favorite little mountain ski towns in Colorado! I can’t wait to get there and relax, ski and spend some time with my hubby and friends!

I really HATE being cold, so I wanted to share my must-haves for skiing and what I pack for each trip. I usually just use/wear what I have from previous trips but I added a few new things to my packing list this time!

Here’s what I pack for the slopes:

Ski Coat (you need one that is warm and water repellant)
Ski Pants
Turtleneck for under ski coat
Ski Socks
Gloves
Goggles
Beanies/Hats
Pocket Hand/Foot Warmers
Hot Chilly’s or Thermals (under your ski gear)
Snow Boots
Sunscreen
Aquaphor/Chapstick
Bag for Ski Gear
Camera/Go Pro/Phone
Sports Bra (trust me on this one)
Headphones (I’m taking my wireless air buds)

If you don’t want to buy, you can always rent! I’ve done that before too!

And then don’t forget the time off of the slopes! They usually close down around 4pm, so you’ll need clothes for dinner or whatever your plans are after skiing!
