Finding outfits while you are a nursing mama is a task in itself. As if nursing a baby isn’t time consuming and hard enough, trying to find outfits to make you feel beautiful while nursing said baby makes it even harder. Even if you find a cute nursing-friendly outfit, you don’t want to spend boo-c0os of money on it because you won’t be nursing forever.
Why can’t every trendy and cute outfit accommodate you whipping out the boob (sorry, lack of better words) whenever she cries? And, even if you can whip the boob out in the outfit, you gotta make sure that you get it out in like .5 seconds or a) she’s going to cry even harder in public or b) milk is going to be all over your clothes before you get the baby there. The strugggggle, y’all.
I love nursing. I really, really do. BUT, I miss my outfits. I miss not planning my outfit around how I’m going to maneuver the baby and the boob all under the nursing cover to not show anything I’m not supposed to be showing. I miss normal bras. I miss strapless bras fitting right. Why in the world have they not made a way to convert your actual bra into a nursing bra, yet? Someone get on that.
