Are you guys loving the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? I know I’ve been posting about it so much, but I have found so many great pieces for now and fall that I just want to kiss Nordstrom on the face for having such a great sale. Okay that was a little more enthusiastic than it should have been, but it’s such a great sale y’all!
Today I’m going to share with you everything I tried on at the Nordstrom Sale Early Access, complete with sizing and my review of it AND what I purchased!
Honestly, my best piece of advice so far is to buy online and pick up in store. If the item doesn’t work out, the return process is quick and easy. Nordstrom has the best customer service, so don’t worry if you buy something and it doesn’t fit or you just don’t like it!
Pro Tip: Wear a strapless bra and nude underwear while going to the fitting room to ensure you can see the right fit on it all.
Blue Romper // Runs a bit snug. I didn’t end up purchasing because I needed a small and tried on an XS. I also wanted to take it on the cruise and it wouldn’t be there in time!
Floral Dress // It’s love. I ended up sizing up to a small after trying on the XS. It was a bit snug in the hips. I am obsessed with this dress and can’t wait to wear it with sandals now and booties into fall!
Wrap Maxi Dress // This one isn’t one I’d normally reach for, but it’s so pretty! I love the ruffle detail. I didn’t end up purchasing but it’s really pretty. I would size down, this one runs a bit big.
Floral Drop Waist // I’m loving this one! I ended up sizing up to a small. It runs a little snug…loving that you can layer it for fall as well!
Floral Skirt + Black Blouse // I’m loving the versatility of this one. I can mix and match both! Tie the top into a knot or front tuck it with the skirt!
Black Blouse + Jeans // The versatility of this top is the best! It comes in several colors; I want all of them! These jeans are the BEST and they’re under $50!
Burgundy Lace Trim Top // I ended up getting this in burgundy and blue. It’s a great transition piece especially fun for fall with a scarf!
Plaid Scarf // Only $13! Snag it before it sells out!
Floral Ruffle Sleeve Top // Comes in several colors. Fits true to size and is great for wearing with jeans or a skirt!
Black Cold Shoulder // Loving this one! It’s great for dressing up or down! loving that I can wear it with shorts now and jeans into fall! It fits TTS.
Lace up Sweatshirt // This one is a great comfy option! I love the lace up side and love that I can wear it now and later into fall. I am pairing it with shorts for now, but you’ll see me wearing this all of the time!
Asymmetrical Ruffle Tank // This is one of my favorites BY FAR. It fits true to size and is a great piece to layer with or wear with a pair of ripped shorts for now! DEFINITELY a great purchase.
Ruffle Shirt // This is actually my least favorite from try-ons. I don’t love the fit. Maybe I needed to size up, but it was definitely not a favorite!
Plaid Shirt + Suede Skirt // I love this plaid shirt so much I got it in 2 colors (in XXS – size DOWN)! This suede is a good one, too! Make sure to get your right size or even size down! Pair it together + with other things for fall!
Black Pocket Dress // IT HAS POCKETTTSSS. Need I say more? It runs TTS and has pockets. That’s all. I love it and ordered it in 2 colors.
Topshop Tie Sleeve Dress // This one was a miss for me. I sized up two sizes and had on pink underwear…not a good combo. It didn’t come home with me!
Booties // These are on my next to purchase list! In my cart! Actually…I may have purchased late last night…can’t remember if that was real life or dream? I’ll be sure to let you know. LOL
Embroidered Jeans // These were so cute! I love the embroidered detail! I didn’t think they were worth the price, so I didn’t get them! But if you love blue embroidery…these are for you!
Quay Sunnies // Grabbed these for our cruise. They’re the best.
Caslon Peplum Chambray + Plaid Scarf // Probably one of my favorite purchases (how many times have I said that?) but really, though…
Floral Dress + OTK Boots // I love this one! I think I will pair the dress with booties instead of these OTK boots but I do love them both separately! If you are taller than me, this is your jam.
Adidas Tank // I ordered this tank in a small and ended up exchanging for an XS. I do love it though and seriously think I’ll live in it!
Blue Lace Trim Tank // This is the same one as the burgundy one! I love it just as much in blue! Pair it with THIS scarf for transitioning into fall!
Rebecca Minkoff Lavender Bag // This is the cutest little crossbody! I have had my eye on it for a while and snagged it during the sale!
Lush Side Split Tee // This is THE.BEST.Tee. I grabbed it in 3 colors! Runs TTS and comes in lots of colors! I’m wearing XS.
Ruffle Sleeve Dress // This one wasn’t love for me. It fit too big like a sack. I think I needed to size down, but it’s definitely cute..just not for me in this size!
Northface Jacket // This is on my Christmas wish list! I’m wearing an XS!
Zella Bra, Leggings & Top // This is love. I needed to size down in the bra, but everything else is great!
Zella Vest // I snagged this lovely! I can’t wait to wear it this winter. It’s under $70 and a great one for layering!!
Camo Long Sleeve + Fleece Shorts // I have already worn this one wearing a small in top and shorts! They are LOVE, yall.
Northface Jacket // This is a lightweight jacket and it will sell out FAST. Snag it now to save!
Zella Tank + Zella Bra + Zella Leggings // Comes in several colors and is super light weight. It’s the best! I’m wearing a small.
Sweater + Moto Leggings // I have these leggings and they’re SO GOOD. The top is definitely a must-have for fall into winter.
