Every 3 months, my mom travels to Oklahoma City to go to the doctor and we finally hopped in with her for the trip! I had been trying to make this happen for months, so when it finally happened, we were thrilled! My Grandma lives near Tulsa, so she was even able to make the trip up to see the girls and visit with us. We were so thankful to have the modern and kid-friendly 21c Museum Hotel in Oklahoma City host our stay!
In the heart of downtown OKC, the 21c Museum Hotel was perfect for our stay. The girls were so excited to see a museum and loved getting to travel to see Grandma Gin-Gin, too! Upon arrival to the hotel, we knew it was going to be a great stay! When you walk in, there are displays everywhere! I was a little hesitant since we had kids with us, but they assured me that this was a kid-friendly hotel! The hospitality was beyond amazing!
Once we got checked into our adjoining 2-room suite, we went on some exploring! The room itself was a piece of art, but we headed down to check out the penguin exhibit and all of the abstract pieces. This hotel is perfect for hosting events like weddings or cocktail parties! I already see us planning something for family that lives in OKC!
One of our favorite parts of 21c is the quirky and fun atmosphere! There are life-size purple penguins that you can carry around the hotel with you. You can take them to your room, to the restaurant or just carry them around as you view the art. This is definitely one of the most unique touches I’ve ever seen added to a hotel! The girls LOVED it and always had a penguin nearby.
The stay was great, the atmosphere was fun and most of all, it was a great place for our family to be able to meet up and enjoy spending time with one another! It was so great for the girls to see my grandma and mom! Thank you to 21c Museum Hotel for accommodating us perfectly and hosting our stay to OKC! We hope to be back soon and spend some more time in the area!
