Missing in Action

Whewwww….We’ve been super busy around here lately! I promise that I’m still alive, not hibernating (although I’d like to be…) and surprisingly still well (as in not sick, as in NO STREP THROAT!) Whoop, whoop! So, what have we been doing?!

Valentine’s Day.
Pet Peeve Alert——->> If you are a grown adult, PUH-LEEESE stop saying “ValentiMes Day”…drives. me.nuts.

Okay..go.

Hubbs and I were actually on the same wave length this year. Usually he gets me something big and I girlfriend/fiance/wife FAIL and get him something small and cheese-bally. OR…I get him something SUPER good cheesy. Let’s face it–he usually spoils me and I usually go cheesy. This year…we both got a little sentimental and used VERY little money. GO US!

Here is the sum of Brett’s Valentine’s Day. He got little gifts throughout the day…credit, Pinterest. (duh)

And here is what he got me! Very thoughtful…AND he didn’t even steal it from Pinterest! I get to pick one (very good) date from the jar each month to go on ranging from a day of chores, a weekend getaway and a weekend of my choice. He did great!

We also made some lovey-dovey heart shaped cinnamon rolls and pizza!

And…I Valentine’d with my kiddos at school. Super tired, but FUN day.

& Trip to Amarillo last weekend….
It was good to see my family, get my hair done (@ Staci’s Salon and Spa) & sweet Hydie Mae, my long-lost-ever-so-plump-cupcake-eating wiener dog.

&& went to visit Kristin and sweet Brogan in Lubbock.
