Happy 1/2 birthday to my sweet baby girl! I can’t believe it’s been half a year since she was brought into this world! She’s given us so much joy and happiness that I can’t even begin to describe. We love love love her!!
She’s meeting and surpassing tons of milestones. Her doctor says that she is advanced in gross motor development…and I believe her! I can’t believe all that she’s doing!
Age :: six months…1/2 a year! Where did the time go?
Length :: 25.5 inches
Weight :: 14 lbs 15 oz
Milestones :: 5.5 months she started to crawl! She’s on the go! Last night, she learned to pull up and now we have to lower her crib! Scared this momma! She’s got 2 teeth (bottom front) that she cut within a week of each other. She was 5.5 months when she cut them. Now she’s working on cutting the top left tooth and it’s giving her more discomfort than the lower teeth did. The lower teeth just appeared out of no where with barely any fussing!
She’s crawling, sitting, scooting, pulling up, laughing and really reacting to the voices and songs that we sing. She loves to play “pat-a-cake” and “this little piggy” and has really started to LOVE dogs. She spend some time with Hydie the weenie dog and loved her…loves my sister’s dog Callie and of course her big giant puppy-brother, Tucker.

Sleep :: She is sleeping oh-so-much better. We recently had a bought with RSV and an ear infection which totally messed up our schedule, but I’m hoping to get back on a good routine after Christmas. She’s still sleeping in her crib, but it’s taking forever to get her down. And lately, she will only nap if I’m laying next to her…this is because we’ve both been sick and we both needed naps! Haha! She’s only a baby once…I’ve enjoyed spending cuddle time with her, but haven’t gotten a thing in the world done outside of that!
Favorites :: still LOVES bath time, playing in the floor, going for walks, reading books, singing songs, crawling, the Christmas tree, playing with wrapping paper, her toys, cuddling with mommy…
Doesn’t like :: back to HATING the carseat. It’s awful…makes me cry! Still really hates the Nose Frida and for some reason putting her arms in shirts? She fusses every time.
Clothes :: She is in mostly 3-6 month clothes…6 month Carters onesies. Size 2 diapers.
