Summer Tops for Nursing Moms

Hey guys!  I’m Jessica, and I blog over at Kozy & Co, a
lifestyle blog, where I share about motherhood, style, my family’s favorite
products, and a whole bunch of other fun stuff! I am so excited to be guest
posting today, over here on Little Lovelies for Ashlee!

 

I recently gave birth to baby number three, my third child in 4 years… so
as you can imagine, my body has been put through a lot.  I wish I
could say that I was one of those women who immediately bounces back into
pre-baby shape, but unfortunately, that is not the case.

 

I’m trying to embrace my postpartum body and I’m striving to get back into
shape all while juggling life with three babes.  It certainly isn’t
easy, but seeing as my body didn’t get this way overnight, I know it’s
going to take time and a bit of hard work to get back to a place where I
feel comfortable in my own skin.

 

In the meantime, it’s become really important to me to find fun items that
are flattering on a post-baby body and still make me feel stylish as a mom.
 It’s definitely easy to fall into the routine of wearing yoga pants
every day, but I feel so much better about myself when I put on real
clothes.  I’m sure so many of you can relate to this feeling.

 

I love the fact that loose-fitting and boho styles are what’s in right now.
Peplum tops, and off the shoulder looks are some of my favorites.  I’m
currently nursing, so when I shop, I have to take that into
consideration… I can’t tell you how many times I have seen a cute top (or
dress) while I was in a store, grabbed it off the rack, and then suddenly
remembered that I have a baby to feed, and that it just won’t work for
me.

 

So, I’ve been on the hunt for some nursing-friendly summer tops, and I
wanted to share some of my favorites with you all.  The best part is,
these styles are great even if you aren’t nursing too, so it’s a
win-win.
