It’s back to school time!! Our school just released our school supply list so we were excited to head out and shop for everything we need!
Laikyn is starting kindergarten in about a little over a week! In some ways I just can’t believe it and in other ways she is just so ready! I can’t wait to find out who her teacher is, meet the teacher, get ready for the first day of school and all of that fun stuff! She is probably more excited than I am!
As most of you know, I taught kindergarten before I had babies of my own so the first day is always special to me! I know what a big deal it is and how much preparation goes into those first few weeks of school! Laikyn is prepared and ready… And I have been praying for her teacher and her classmates to have the best school year!
In preparation for school starting, we headed to Walmart to do our back to school shopping! Laikyn was so excited to pick out all of her notebooks, crayons and pencils! She is just as particular as her mama… Always goes for cute and fun notebooks! Did you know that if you do not want to go in store to shop and fight the crowds, you can find your child’s school supply list on Walmart.com and fill your cart from there? All the busy moms can shop tonight! If Laikyn didn’t care about what her stuff looks like we for sure would have done that!
Walmart had everything we needed from school supplies to getting everything ready for her first lunch at school! They even have the cutest outfits right now! I found this cute peplum top which will be great for now and also into fall. Laikyn has found several things too! How cute is her Chevron tracksuit? I could not believe the price on it!
