I’m coming off of a family weekend high and the littles are coming off of a grandparent detox. Do your littles get home from Grandparent’s house and act like a completely different little human? Please tell me I’m not the only one. I was just telling my mom this weekend that I don’t even know who she is? It’s like she’s not even the same little person. She doesn’t want anything to do with me…it’s ALLLLLL…Mammie, Mammie, Mammie. Mammie = Marsha Brady.
We’re back home and back to normal. We had the girls’ 1 and 3 year check ups today. Shots went well for Lennie, as Laikyn sang her “Twinkle, Twinkle” and assured her she would get a sucker when she was finished. Even though she didn’t get a sucker because she’s 1 and the doctor might frown upon that…she did get a lick of her big sister’s sucker and a tasty little rubber ducky. We’re also cutting top 1 year molars, so she is BITING everything in sight such as her sister’s toes at bedtime. So that’s fun.

Here I go again with an off-the-shoulder top. Seriously, they are slowly but surely taking over my closet, one hanger at a time. This floral one can be a crop or if you wear it with high-waisted shorts (or pants) it doesn’t show a thing.
I grabbed this top from Romwe which is a super affordable online boutique with trendy and ready to wear outfits. I threw this on for errands today, and paired it with my favorite black high waist shorts from Charlotte Russe. And can we take a second to talk about Birkenstocks? I mean, I remember making fun of my mom wearing them circa 2000, but how can a shoe be so comfortable?
I picked these up on our last trip to Ruidoso and I have be living in them since. I agree, they are kind of ugly, but…I don’t care. If wearing them is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
