Sunday Funday.
We came. We swam. We had lots of fun.
Grabbing Daddy for a fun day is not always the easiest! He is either working, working on the yard, and sometimes golfing (his favorite of these) but today we grabbed him and headed to the pool. It’s so refreshing to have some time with all four of us, enjoying each other, teaching the girls new things, getting snow cones and swimming! The girls love their daddy and their daddy is completely smitten with them. It’s just so fun to watch!
With Father’s Day coming up, I wanted to encourage you to plan something fun for your family to get out and about to enjoy each other. We don’t always do planned activities like this, but it’s just so nice to leave all of the laundry, dishes, phones and chores behind to play. It’s amazing the conversations that are had and the smiles that are seen! I was lucky enough to capture some of these sweet moments with our little family, and I’m so glad I did!
I will cherish them, always! Every moment, big or small, I tuck away and hold them tight because I don’t want to blink and them be gone. Bottling up the little baby days has been something I’ve prayed about and hope to remember every detail! I love this little family of mine!
Daddy works so hard for our family. We are so proud of him and incredibly thankful for him and everything he does for our family. I am especially thankful for his hardworking heart because it allows me to stay home with our girls while they’re little. Something I will never ever ever take for granted.
Get out and celebrate those dads in your life!
What are you going to do for Father’s Day to get out and about? How are you going to celebrate Dad?
