I am so beyond excited the today is the LAST-VERY-LAST day of school for the year. I’ve moved classrooms and have decorating hanging over my head, but I’ve got all summer, right? The positive: after this year of moving, I move again next year into a brand-spankin-new room, fully furnished with all a Kindergaten teacher would dream of. Ahhh…..one more year.
Anywho…on to FFF. With today being the ((unsaid)) very most favorite.
1. House Guests
My mom and sister came to visit me last night! We didn’t have a whole lot of time, which stinks since sister lives all the way in Pennsylvania! It was great to get to see them both. Tuck got to meet his aunt and love on his Grammie!
2. Color Run
The mister and I are headed to Denver today to see his sister, Lindsay, and do the Color Run 5K. This makes me want to cry thinking about running 3.2 miles at a decent speed, but I am excited to get painted like a rainbow. I’ll just think of leprechauns, unicorns and a pot of gold at the end. I think I can…I think I can…
But really, so excited to get out of town (ha, like I haven’t been every weekend) and see some of Brett’s fam. Plus, Denver is a pretty stinkin’ cool place. Here we come, Mile High. I sure hope we get at least one breakfast at Sams No. 3.
3. Strawberry Spritzer
I instantly fell into a love/love relationship with Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka on the Guadalupe River this weekend. It was too delicious. Mix it with club soda and add some limes and you instantly have the most delicious summer drink. Ahhhhh first summer cocktail, coming right up!
I haven’t talked about my Nook much because I put it on the back burner when I was all consumed in school. I picked it up again this week, and have fallen in love, again. I love love love being able to read all of my magazines and that they are automatically downloaded to browse when ready. Plus, I’ve finally gotten into my books again and not felt guilty about staying late to get report cards done or glue scraped from tables. Hellllllooo summer.
And, I love my pink Kate Spade cover. It makes me happy!
5. Aztec Inspired Jewelry
I’m loving this collar necklace. I feel like I would definitely get my use out of this one. And, it’s only $25. Alright, going to my TBP list.
6. Adorbs Beach Towels
I feel like you can never have enough of these for lake days and summer pool days! We just got the cutest chevron beach towels from Old Navy that were featured in this {FFF} post. LOVE it. Now, I want this one!
