Whhhewww, am I ever so glad this week is O-V-E-R.
I have a few faves from this week (they sure did help me make it through a long week), and you’re most definitely gonna need these things to get in your life, too!
(and Texas Women AND Melissa & Tye). I just love Sweet Home Alabama, so I was super excited when Southern Nights started. Southern Nights is like Bachelor Pad-gone-country. Guilty pleasure, deluxe. Who’s my favorite? I love Cassie, Courtney and Devin and am pretty positive that Tristan and Cody are the cutest little southern couple.
I had to order my “reward for running” shoes (read about that post HERE) since they are no where to be found in Lubbock (in my size) so, I got a few new running outfits to choose from for my 5k this saturday. Old Navy had some super cute (and very affordable) options. I’m obsessed with bright neons and thought that would definitely make me run better and faster…maybe I should have bought a cape! Ha! Here are a few of the things I found and love.
I’m a firm supporter of everything Lululemon, but since I don’t have access to one in at least a 400 mile radius, Old Navy sufficed.
Darci [The Good Life] wasn’t joking when she posted about these Southwest Chicken Packets. They were oh so easy to make and turned out really good. Hubbs and friends decided that it can be a do-again. Easy AND yummy? Score!
And then, I made this fresh strawberry yogurt cake for a friend that just had a baby, and I must say, even though it was a little bit more difficult than my usual box-cake-routine, it was well worth it. It looked pretty and tasted yummy. Perfect cake to take to your next party or potluck. And, I learned how to zest a lemon. What what!
I’m getting so excited for the upcoming nuptials of my sweet friends Michelle and Brittan. You can read their sweet proposal story HERE. I am having fun looking for outfits for her lingerie party, bridal shower and bachelorette weekend to San Antonio. Here are some favorites so far…TBP list is getting super long and Hubbs is getting super worried about my shopping habits. Eeeeek!!

I can’t wait to see this book go big screen. Nicolas Sparks is the Romeo of Romance….wonder if his wife EVER gets mad at him? I would think not….
