It’s a hard one. I have a hard time every single year trying to figure out what to get my parents, my husbands parents and my grandparents! Do you shop for them together or get his/her gifts? I’ve found a few things that just might work for you this year so you don’t have to search any more than you already have!

For Parents
My mom is the easiest to buy for. It’s simple – get something I want for myself and she’s going to love it! Same goes for my mother-in-law…easiest ever! We all like the same things so it’s incredibly easy. BUT…for my dad, that’s another story. He is hands down the hardest person to buy for.
It seems like our parents and grandparents have everything that they’d ever want, so it’s our job to find the things that mean something or that will really wow them!
For Grandparents
I think it’s safe to say that they are going to like anything that their grandchild gives them. For instance, my daughters can give my parents literally a potato in a brown sack and they would cherish it! Ha! And I know I couldn’t give my grandma anything she wouldn’t love! She is the easiest. When in doubt, frame a photo of the family or kids.
For In-Laws
I happen to have really great in-laws who aren’t the hardest to buy for. As I mentioned, my mother-in-law is just like my and likes the same things so it’s not too hard. My father-in-law, on the other hand, is just about as bad as my own dad. It’s so hard to buy for him, so I usually just ask my MIL what he needs and she’s so great to tell me.
I would love to hear some ideas of what you’ll be getting your grandparents, parents and in-laws! I would love to add some ideas to this list as well!
Happy shopping!
