I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the week! Happy Humpday, lovelies! We’ve made it!! I started life as a cotton harvest widow this week, so our schedule has been crazy! Brett started ginning cotton and we’ve been in survival mode! I’m headed out of town for my launch party tomorrow! YAY! I have been asked more often lately about Brexton’s schedule and how he’s sleeping now that he’s almost one! I wanted to share our bedtime routine and also a baby brand that we’ve been using to save a little money around here!
Wait, did I just say Brexton is about to be ONE!? How could this be!?! My baby!!! I’m going to cry now…
Brex is sleeping SO good! He is cutting a tooth right now, so he had a bad night the night before last, but most of the time he’s sleeping 10-12 hours per night and really needs it! He is SO busy during the day that he is ready to crash around 6:45pm! Here is our current bedtime routine/schedule:
5:30-6pm Dinner
6:15 Bath
6:45 Bedtime Lotion + pajamas + Diaper
6:50 Nurse
7:00 Lovey, pacifier, rock/sing + prayers
It’s super simple, but we do this every single night. I have done this with all of my kids and owe this routine/schedule to them sleeping so well! We also make sure and use a sound machine and blackout curtains!
We are moving to the new house next week, so I’m praying that by keeping this routine, he still continues to sleep well! Fingers crossed!
I have been trying to save every penny to buy new things for the house and with Brexton’s birthday and Christmas coming up, I found a new baby brand that is just as good and helps save so much!
