Bachelorette Dish – Episode 6

I’ve been dying to jump back on the Bachelorette Dish Bandwagon for 2 weeks now. Summer obligations have finally slowed down, and I’ve intentionally stayed in my PeeJay’s all day to catch up. That, and I have a vicious summer cold. Seriously, guys, don’t kid yourself when I said not even 3 days ago when Brett had said cold, “I’m not going to get that! It’s summer!” I retract that last comment, because I for sure have that stupid cold.

I sit here with box of Kleenex close and PeeJay’s still on to take a break from the 1,203,846 graduate school tests I’ve been taking today. That was a slight exaggeration. But, really, I have taken 3 tests already today and I’ve got 2 more to go! Apparently grounding myself to the couch should have happened sooner and I wouldn’t have had to take so many dang tests in one day. That, and now I have to write a 12 page minimum paper over a topic I have yet to choose by FRIDAY. How’s that for procrastination. If only I could write about fashion or what I’m wearing…I chose the wrong major.

So, I’m procrastinating once again, and decided to take a break from feeling like a truck ran over me and a break from taking a bazillion tests to blog about Bachelorette last night.

Last night was my favorite episode this season! Was it because Emily totally rocked her inner smart-girl and kicked Ryan to the curb? That could have a little to do with it!

Croatia was a perfect place for this episode. I’ve never seen Croatia, so I was so surprised at how gorgeous the scenery was. I loved it!

Emily’s first one-on-one date was with Travis aka Egg Guy. Shockingly, he made it this far…He was a nice guy, but really? The egg??

I thought the date went well, but Emily chose not to give him a rose at the end which sent him packing.

Next was the group date to see Disney/Pixar’s Brave. I thought it was so fitting, and that theater was GORGEOUS! The guys were all so cute the way they were comparing their current situation to the movie. Then, they went and competed in their very own Highland Games. Sean was by far the hottest and should have won the rose, but I like that Emily gave it to Chris. Chris tried to hard to win an event, and didn’t, but Emily gave him the Bravery Cup and the rose for his brave heart. So cheesy, I love it.

Emily still is loving Sean and Arie the most, but is definitely giving the other guys a chance. She is so sweet to all of them, even the ones that don’t deserve it!

Next was Emily and Ryan’s one-on-one. Thank goodness Ryan was himself on this date. I mean, really, those turquoise shoes? And the list of things that HE is looking for in a wife? Who is the bachelorette here, Ryan or Emily? I am so glad that all of his arrogant comments finally got him the boot. I think he was trying to talk Emily out of not giving him the rose (clearly, this has worked for him in the past)..but she was so smart to send him packing! Off to find his “trophy wife” somewhere else, I suppose.

Did anyone else notice all of the different facial expressions emily was giving to Ryan? I think she really just didn’t know how to take him. I mean…who would. I think one of the guys said it right when they heard he wasn’t coming back to the house…”If Ryan is going to be the next Bachelor, the next bachelorette is a mirror.” Classic.

After Ryan went home and the guys found out about it, Arie rushed over to Emily’s room to let her know he was there for her. This was so sweet, and I think Emily was so happy he was there! Plus, they look so natural and happy together. I am betting it is Arie and Sean in the final two.

Yep, she’s definitely into Arie! No denying the heat between the two of them.

The rose ceremony was next, and it definitely had a quick turn of events. Emily gave them all a rose and they’re all going to Prague next week!

Can’t wait until next week…sounds like Arie is in trouble for dating an ABC producer or executive in the past. I can’t wait to see how that plays out! I still think she will end up with Arie (or Sean…I do love Sean!)

Thanks for linking up girl! I totally don't blame you for lounging in your pj's all day. If I could…I TOTALLY would. Thank God for weekends, right!?

I'm with you on the Arie drama. I can't wait to see how this plays out, but I almost want to cover my eyes because I have this feeling that things don't end well. However I'm still keeping my optimistic pants on and hoping that she forgives him and lets the past remain in the past! I hope!!!!!

New follower here. Love your recap! I just think Arie isn't as genuine as he is trying to seem and I think the will send him packing. I really want to look at the Reality Steve spoilers, but I am refraining for now.
