We all know how obsessed with clothes, shoes and accessories I am…Let’s hope that Laikyn takes after me and is girly. If not…we’re out of luck. I sure do love her closet though.
Here’s how I organized her closet to keep it looking nice.
I got this cube shelf at Target and put it together for my classroom. I decided to bring it home and use it for her closet and love the way it looks. You can buy one HERE.
The metal baskets came from Garden Ridge. The chalkboard labels came from World Market. All of the shoes came from tons of different places…. 😉
Baby Laikyn has a TON of bows! I had all of her bows in a bowl like the one sitting on her shelf, but I wanted to make a place that they didn’t look so cluttered and that I could see them.
I used Mommy’s Little Sunshine tutorial and made a clip holder of my own.
HERE is the tutorial.
Then I just put all of her headbands in the bowl.
All of her stuffed animals went in a tub that I got at one of my showers (it was filled with lots of great things like dvds, books, bath toys, etc.) and then put one of my decorations from the shower around it. Tara at Boss Baby made it and she is fabulous at making other things too!
These clothes dividers came from Heads Up Girls Baby on Etsy. They were super easy to put together and get in the closet. And, I love how her clothes are divided by size.
Thank goodness I don’t organize my closet like this…there are some things that would never get worn again after this pregnancy! Ha!
Yes, she has A LOT of clothes! And this isn’t all of them. She’s got MORE in drawers!
Poor baby girl will always have to be nakey…she’s never got anything to wear! 😉
All of these are newborn to about 6 months.
And about 6 months all the way to 18-24 months.
Everything from newborn to 3 months is washed and ready for her to wear! I will tackle 6-12 months another day! 😉
This is the left side that I’ve used to store the Nap Nanny (yes, I realize that it’s recalled, but that’s because people don’t know HOW to use it.)…her tub and right now her stroller.
The right side has been used to store the things from the showers that we haven’t gotten out yet like bottle warmer/sterilizer, Ergo baby carrier, jumper, etc. We have put together her Rock n Sleep, bouncer and will put together her swing this weekend! 🙂 It’s getting closer!
The top of the closet is for storage of diapers, Bumbo and wipes! We have a FULL closet and momma has a FULL heart!
I love it! 🙂
What am I forgetting that might need to be done before she gets here!? Her closet is obviously ready.
Up nexxt…
