Wearing white on white can be somewhat intimidating, especially as a mom! I mean, we don’t always get the luxury of clean hands and warm hearts…
I actually do not dare wear all white outfit when I’m just running errands or “mom-ing” but it’s a fun little trend to try for work, meetings or a girls day out! I actually threw this outfit on one day thinking I would be comfortable for meetings, and then the West Texas weather slapped me in the face and it was 79 degrees in January. Yep, that was cool….
No matter what the weather is, white on white is an easy and affordable trend to try in 2017! Here are a few ways to rock it:
- Choose Comfort – I go for comfort when choosing white on white. I want to feel comfortable and look comfortable. I don’t want to look tailored or “put together” but more like thrown together and making it work – super casual!
- Mix Textures – I mixed distressed white denim with a textured sweater. Choose one texture whether it be the top or the bottom. Cute peplum tops, lace/crochet, etc are easily paired with jeans to make it a different texture! I fell in love with this dot sweater and knew it must be mine.
- Accessorize with Neutrals – I couldn’t decide whether to accessorize with brown or grey – but grey just did more for the outfit! I’m living in these grey OTK boots that I can seriously wear with every outfit I own.
- Use What You’ve Got – You probably have white jeans in your closet, and you probably have a white top. See if it works. Just throw it on, add some accessories and maybe even a vest or scarf and see if it works! This is my favorite white-toned scarf and similar to my favorite white vest.
- Own It – Just rock it, girl.
White on white is probably the easiest trend you can try! It’s white. It’s easy. It’s totally whatever goes……..until that Ketchup hand reaches up for mommy hangs. Don’t even get me started on Cheetos.
