Teaching life lessons though reading is such an awesome opportunity! When inspirational books for children is combined with something fun, it makes it easy to teach the most important lessons in life! My girls LOVE reading, so any time I can get a few life-lessons into their reading, I feel like it’s a WIN-WIN. It’s been on my mind to get my 3-year-old some type of devotional to help explain Jesus and the Bible to her better and more on her level than I can. I have been on the search, and then was contacted by Inspirational Nursery Rhymes and fell in love.
These board books are perfect for toddlers! They are small and easy navigated as a toddler. Laikyn can even read most of them herself now that we’ve read through them a few times each. What’s really important about these books is the lessons they teach. Each book has a lesson like responsibility or being thankful. God is the center of these books, and that’s why they are so special. After we read them, it opens up a whole new level of conversation. Laikyn also LOVE LOVE LOVES to find the “books” in every illustration. There is a little game at the end of each book that tells you to find the stack of books (it’s a little illustration of books) that is hiding somewhere on every page. She loves to make it a race to see who will find the books first! The characters are adorable little mice, with Max being her favorite in every book.

When was the last time that you saw God in a children’s book? When is the last time you were able to read about God and the things that are important in a children’s board book?
