Hey y’all! I’m so thrilled to host a week of guests on the blog this week! Stay tuned for some style tips, DIY, recipes and more! Our first up is Astleigh from Hill Collection! She’s a doll, so I hope you’ll give her website a visit!
I’m Astleigh (pronounced like “lastly” without the first “L”), the creator and author behind Hill Collection, a lifestyle blog celebrating family, marriage, parenthood, faith, and the little things. Wife to a slightly bearded man whom I call husband and mama to our sweet baby girl, we call the mountains of Virginia home. I’ve always got an iced coffee in hand, strongly believe mascara is essential, and would live in a never-ending Autumn if it were possible. Coziness is my jam, decorating is my passion, hosting is my love, celebrating holidays is my favorite, and fresh flowers are my happy. I’m a firm believer in creating beautiful spaces, taking too many photos, and having dessert every day. Join me in my day-to-day, for recipes, and DIY tutorials on the blog!

- What You’ll Need
- Dried magnolia leaves
- Grapevine wreath
- Green floral wire
- What You’ll Do
- Let the leaves dry out on the branches for 2 weeks.
- Gently remove the leaves from the branches.
- Wrap one end of a 3 inch section of floral wire around the stem of the leaf. Find a spot on the wreath, and thread the other end of the wire through, securing it in place. Repeat this step until all the leaves have been added and the wreath is full.
- Make sure to layer the leaves on top of each other, all going in the same direction.
Okay, that’s it…now I’m making a magnolia wreath to channel my inner Joanna Gaines!
