Well, we blinked our eyes and Father’s Day is just right around the corner. About a week and a half away, to be exact, and I don’t know about y’all but I always have the hardest time with Dad and Husband! Men are the hardest to buy for, because they usually just go out and buy whatever they need/want when they need it! That leaves it hard on the daughters and wives in their lives because then we’re left with nothing to buy for them!
I’ve rounded up some easy gift ideas for the man in your life for Father’s Day. My dad, father-in-law and husband are all so different that I’m going to break it down into those categories, as well as a category from your kids to their daddy!
For Your Dad
My dad is obsessed with these shirts. They don’t wrinkle and you don’t have to send them to the cleaners either! They come in short and long sleeve as well as regular and tall man. He’s a big ol guy, so that’s usually my go-to when buying for him. That and a gift card to his favorite place to eat. Can’t beat the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Ain’t that the truth!?
For Your Husband (the Dad)
My hubby is also the hardest to buy for person in the world. If he wants something, he goes to get it for himself, and he NEVER wants anything for any holiday. Christmas, birthday, Father’s Day…anything! He doesn’t want a present for it! But, I always get him something he doesn’t want that I think he needs which usually ends up sitting there for forever before he finally decides to wear it or use it! These some of the things that I have bought him that he has actually liked in all different price ranges and some even ON SALE! These underwear and undershirts are BY FAR the best. He has tried them all, I promise, and these shoes don’t disappoint for the pool or lake this summer! Golf gear (if he is a golfer) is also always a safe bet! He’s getting THIS (I don’t think he reads religiously…)
For Your Father-in-Law
This one is a little harder for me. We usually go with a card and something that we know he will love. One Father’s Day it was a giant box of Hot Tamales. Another was a cake from his favorite place. Once again, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach! Here are some things we know he would love!
