Felt like abbrevs today.
Today is a totally gorgeous spring day in West Texas! We have totally gone from gorgy weather last week, to a windy & cold weekend, rainy Monday and Tuesday, snowing on Wednesday and now to gorgeous weather again today on Friday. Only in West Texas can it be 85 today and snowing by tonight! Gosh, Spring, I hope you’re here to stay this time. My planted pots and said spring fever will thank you so.
Hubbs and I don’t have much planned for this weekend, except headed to see The Hunger Games, and welcoming Bailey and Matt’s sweet baby, Greleigh Somer, into the world (hopefully on Sunday!) So, sounds eventful when I put it in words.. 🙂 He is leaving me again for a golfing trip (yeah, he lives the life) and we’ll be apart for the week. The good news is: my sweet momma is coming to save the day! She always stays with me when he’s gone. I’ll never grow out of that being fun!

Santa brought these for our stockings (via Rachel Zoe’s recommendations) and I love love love it! The color is perfect and the fact that it’s colored gloss coming out of a lipstick tube just makes it pretty fab. I’m rockin’ “Crimson,” but am loving “Dusty Pink” and “Scarlet Red.”

Old Navy is doing it right with their swimwear this year. This towel had me running out the door getting out my debit card super-fast-like to purchase this bad boy. I am so excited for pool time now (as if I wasn’t ready before the towel). What-what!
((3)) hunger games – the movie
I’m usually skeptical of books made movie, but of course I was super stoked for this one. IT WAS AMAZING. They seriously did a great job making this movie. I do think that I would have been pretty lost and not catch a lot of the details had I not read the movie, though. So, go read the book (if you haven’t already) and then go see the movie (if you haven’t already). You will LOVE it. The outfits were just what I imagined them to be! So…I’m ready for Catching Fire!

This is probably my favorite magazine ever. I love it! Now, you can get it to download on your iPad with a subscription. I seriously squealed when I saw that it was downloading on Tuesday. This is April’s issue, so it’s on the shelves now. Promise, promise you will love it too.
