Happy Mother’s Day

Here’s a little weekend update!
I got to spend the weekend with my sweet momma in Lubbock! It was a much needed retreat. I needed some mom-time and a girls day in a bad way!

Friday night, we met and got our hotel room at the Overton. It’s one of my favorites in Lubbock, and it’s close to Starbuck’s and Spoonful. Coffee and froyo…best combo.

So, we got all checked in, dressed up and went for a girly dinner at Stella’s. After eating out weight in bread, we headed for Spoonful and called it an early night!

Saturday was full of Starbuck’s and shopping, manicures, pedicures and lots of laughs!

Mom is a great mom, but she’s also a wonderful best friend. The best and truest friend I’ve ever found!

Happy Mother’s Day, mom! I am so blessed to be your daughter and to learn from you daily. You are truly the smartest, most gorgeous (inside and out) woman I know! Thank you for being the best mom ever!

I came home to my two boys who I missed very much and enjoyed the evening outside!

Today was church and lunch with Brett’s side of the family! Now headed to see Five Year Engagement with my in-laws and hubby. Happy Mother’s day to my mother in law, too, my second momma!
