Ohhhhh I just about squealed when I came across this linky party over at More From Meg…what better post on a Tuesday right after I gawked at Emily all Monday night. Seriously, guys, total-girl-crush. She’s gorgeous, but what makes me love her even more is how genuine of a southern girl she is.
Not even embarrassed to admit: I am a die-hard Bachelor/Bachelorette fan. I love picking them from the beginning and then being right in the end. I fell in love with Emily on Brad’s season, and while I thought she was too good for him all along, I secretly hoped that they wouldn’t work out so she could be the Bachelorette. Then, after the last two awful seasons (Ashley’s and then Ben’s seasons), I vowed to quit watching until Emily was the Bachelorette! Guess what?!? My Bachelorette “celibacy” has ceased.
Ok, guy time.
I was a tad bit disappointed at the picks for Emily. I just really thought that there would be at least 2 or 3 really good lookin’ guys that would be a great catch for her and Rickie. Nope. They were all a little off….but maybe she just has different taste? She just seemed to be so far out of their league. She took them in so gracefully, as I would have kicked them to the curb, er limo or helicopter, as soon as they gave the first cheesebally line.

 Just thought he was adorable. Don’t love his faux hawk, but I did think he seemed really genuinely into Emily. And, I think they would be cute together.
Charlie I also like Charlie, the guy that had the traumatic head injury…he said, “My head may have been injured, but my heart wasn’t.” A little cheesbally, but I still like him. I think he’s a big ol teddy bear!
As for the weirdos? They were plenty…. How about the egg guy? Why in the world did she keep him? And a man disguised in Grandpa attire is never attractive. Kalon….entrance was “blowing her away” but I just think he is trouble.
Yeah…how awkward is this?
 Now back to Emily.

I love that you wrote about this 🙂 I refused to watch last season with Ben because I knew he was going to pick Courtney. That was a mess! But I am excited to watch Emily. I agree–there weren't any amazing guys, but maybe its what she likes?? I really liked Jef too. I thought he was so sincere and sweet but I guess we will see!!
