I think every family has Christmas traditions and I love hearing about them all! I love picking up new ones along the way and also celebrating the season with the old ones, too!
Last night, the girls and I (well, and B) got in the kitchen to make some Rice Krispy Treats! We are usually baking Christmas cookies, but will wait a little closer to Christmas for those so we can leave the cookies out for Santa on Christmas eve!

Laikyn has her last week of school before Christmas next week and then we’re headed to spend some time with my family! We do Christmas Eve at home and Christmas morning with Santa and presents then go to Brett’s parents house to celebrate with them!
My family always did biscuits and chocolate gravy with bacon and eggs! That’s something I want to start doing with our kiddos too! It’s SO good! As for Christmas traditions, we usually go look at Christmas lights, do a carriage ride, read Christmas books, watch Christmas movies and eat all the good stuff! We shop for Christmas gifts together, go to visit Santa and get a photo each year and of course get matching Christmas pajamas!

What do you do before Christmas and then on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning? I went to a candlelight church service on Christmas Eve that I would really love to do with my family, too! I want to hear about all of yours and possibly incorporate something new in this year! We’re just trying to soak in every bit of our kids being young and the holiday season being magical and fun for them! I can’t wait to see it through their eyes!
