If you know me at all, you know I’m all about quick and easy! With having three little ones, I absolutely have to take advantage of all of the time that I have to pour into them and don’t have a lot of time to cook elaborate meals! I’m always looking for quick and easy meal ideas for my kids especially so I wanted to share a few with you today!
The girls go to school 2-3 days a week, so I really only have them home for lunch on Tuesdays/Thursdays and the weekends. Since Brett is in the thick of harvest season and cotton ginning, I also have to feed everyone supper and sometimes need quick meals before that too! I recently was introduced to Michael Angelo’s Calzones and the girls absolutely love them! Actually, Laikyn was fussing about trying something new and I told her it was a surprise pizza and she thought that might be kind of cool! The bread on the outside with the pizza on the inside – it was a hit with the girls!
They’re SUPER easy to prepare. You can either pop them in the microwave for 3-4 minutes or bake them in the oven if you have time! Michael Angelo’s Calzones come in three different flavor options:
-
- Four Cheese
- Pepperoni
- Primo Supreme
Michael Angelo’s Calzones are made with real, quality ingredients make all the difference and deliver an authentic homemade taste. Michael Angelo’s delivers without fillers, preservatives, or artificial flavors or colors. You can find the calzones at several stores such as Walmart. Find your closest store with the Michael Angelo’s Store Finder.
As for a few other quick meal ideas for kids:
- Ham & Cheese Roll Ups
- Grilled Cheese with Soup
- Hummus and Veggies
- Tortilla Pizzas
- Veggie Tots
What is your go-to lunch for kiddos? I feel like we get in the same ol’ rut and I prepare the same stuff over and over! Glad to throw calzones into the mix and the girls feel like they’re a special lunch for them! Leave some ideas in the comments so we can all read!
I hope you all are having the best day!
