Whew! Life with 3 children has been a bit of a whirlwind, but I’ve finally been able to sit down and really share with y’all my all time favorite baby products that you will want to add to your registry.
Since I am a third-time-mom, I have just found what works for us and what the best products are! Just because these are my favorites, doesn’t mean that the others are less valuable, it just means that this is what has worked for us and I would love to share all of that with you whether you’re a seasoned mama, first time mom, mom-to-be or want to save this for when you become a parent!
I want to share a little about each product and why/how it’s worked for us as well as a link to find it to either add to your registry or purchase it! There are SO many great products out there, and thankfully I have been able to try SO many of them and weed out what doesn’t work for us. I absolutely can attest to the fact that you may not NEED these things, but it does make life with newborns a bit easier. The only thing you really NEED is food, diapers, clothes and love…but a few really great working products doesn’t hurt either!
This is the highchair we used for both girls. We plan to use the same one for B! It wipes clean SO well and it’s definitely worth every penny. I still think it’s the best on the market.
If your baby has reflux, this is a MUST. Since it’s designed at an incline, your baby can sit and sleep in it comfortably. There are different models out there; this one rocks and has music. You can choose to use whatever features from the product that you’d like. We use this so much throughout the day!
3. Baby Shusher Sleep Miracle Soother
Put this in your diaper bag and take it with you everywhere. When on the go, this white noise machine is a LIFE SAVER. Promise.
My first baby didn’t love the Mamaroo. My second two absolutely do! This seat/swing takes up the least space and is most like a mom rocking a baby in their arms. It’s crazy what all it can do!
This one may seem strange, but to be honest, it is the ONLY diaper rash cream that works! My kids have had the worst diaper rash and then I use this and it’s magically gone! I think it was made for horses, but it seriously works AMAZING. Probably a farmer life hack. haha
6. Gripe Water for Baby’s Tummy
This stuff is also a MUST to keep at home and in the diaper bag. Hiccups and upset tummies are no fun, but Gripe Water helps so much!
7. Kiinde Breast Milk Storage Twist Pouch
These are my favorite storage bags for storing pumped breast milk.
8. KicKee Pants Swaddling Blanket
You all know my love for Kickee Pants. We swaddle with these blankets, take them when we leave in the car seat and then the kids always sleep with them when they get older. They’re THE BEST.
9. Faux-Fur Animal Baby Bath Wraps
This has been my favorite bath towel this time around. It’s super soft on both sides!
You definitely need a breast pump if you choose to breastfeed. You can get the Spectra S2 free through insurance if you go through a website like Aeroflow. I did try the Willow and can share my experience, but I definitely recommend for you to get the breast pump through your insurance as it’s going to be your safest bet.
11. Haakaa
This thing. It’s a life (and milk) saver. You suction it on to the opposite breast from the one you’re nursing on. It catches the let down and milk that would have been wasted. Also, if you’re in a bind and can’t connect to an electric pump, this is by far the best hand pump!
12. Fridababy Bitty Bundle of Joy Mom & Baby Healthcare and Grooming Gift Kit
Sounds crazy, but the snot sucker is THE BEST. Also used the Fridet in the hospital and it was great! Definitely get to include in your hospital bag post-delivery.
13. Nook Pebble Pure Crib Mattress
We love this mattress because it’s breathable and safe. It’s also just so cute and soft! It’s the best and doesn’t even need a mattress cover.
14. Hatch Baby Rest Night Light, Sound Machine and Time-to-Rise
You can control this sound machine from your smart phone! Super cool!
15. 4moms Play Yard
This is THE best pack n play on the market. We’ve had it for 5 years and used it with all babies.
16. Owlet Smart Sock 2 Baby Monitor – Track Your Infant’s Heart Rate & Oxygen Levels
An absolute must for first time moms, the Owlet smart sock alerts you if your baby stops breathing. We use it every night and I’m a third time mom. It offers great peace of mind and doesn’t budge on your baby’s foot.
These are the only ones that two of my babies took. The other baby wouldn’t take any pacifier.
The SNOO is THE BEST bassinet out there. It’s pricey, but I try to share sales when I see them. They also just released a new rental program where you can rent the bed for months at a time. Read my post on the SNOO.
19. Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad and Scale
Absolutely love this changing pad as it weighs the baby and also wipes clean so easily! You connect to your phone to get the baby’s weight, track it each time, track feedings, etc. It’s so cool and also provides the percentile where your baby falls. I love this thing!
20. Angelcare Baby Bath Support
Our favorite bath chair! I get asked about this thing all of the time and the price is great! It’s the best and easiest bath chair that I’ve found.
21. CamelBak eddy Water Bottle
This one is for mama! I know I have to drink 3-4 of these per day while breastfeeding. It’s just a great way to keep up with it and get your water intake in for the day.
We got this as a gift and have ended up using it so much! Perfect for floor play, diaper changes, and tummy time! SUPER SOFT!
These are our favorite wipes as well as the Water Wipes.
Wipe warmer = A MUST
25. Vicks Baby Rectal Thermometer
You will definitely need a rectal thermometer. This one isn’t quite as intimidating as the others.
This is great for transitioning to the crib as well as lounging in during the day!
27. Baby Car Seat Cover Canopy and Nursing Cover
The car seat cover that doubles as a nursing cover! I have 3 different ones and use them daily! They’re so convenient to have to keep the baby away from germs as well as cover when nursing!
28. Skip Hop Vibrant Village Activity Gym
Skiphop products are the best! This has ended up being our favorite because of the contrast (good for development) sounds/music and the features of the playmat. Brexton loves it!
29. Woombie Original Nursery Swaddling Blanket
If you don’t want your baby to bust out of the swaddle, you need a Woombie. They’re amazing.
Buy all of the Kickee pants that you can. Made from bamboo; they feel AMAZING.
31. Maternity & Nursing Tank with Built-in Bra
My favorite nursing bra and tank.
32. Nanit Baby Monitor and Wall Mount
This is the monitor we went with this time. We also tried the Levana (loved) and Motorola (broke before 2 years was up) and just wanted something a little different this time!
These were my favorite!
34. Lansinoh Soothies Gel Pads
A must for those first few weeks of nursing!
Obsessed with sleeping in these! So comfy and easy to nurse!
You will need lots of diapers in various sizes. Did you know you can take boxes of diapers to Target and exchange for the size needed if you get too many of one size? They are usually so great about it!
37. Medela Easy Expression Hands-Free Bustier
If you plan to pump at all, you need this hands free bra.
38. Boppy ComfyFit Baby Carrier
Carriers are not the easiest to use! This one is made from stretchy yoga-pant like material and just is about the comfiest thing ever. It’s super easy to use, too! Highly recommend!
39. Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Dispenser with Bags
When out and about with baby, you will need these to put diapers in before putting in the trash, for unexpected blowouts or spit ups and they smell so good!
40. Freshly Picked Convertible Diaper Backpack
This is the best and easiest diaper bag to use. I love the backpack option!
41. Doona Infant Car Seat & Latch Base
GAME CHANGER. The carseat goes from stroller to carseat in the click of a button. It’s truly amazing. Stay tuned for a whole post on this coming soon!
42. Playtex Baby Drop-Ins Liners
The only bottles that have ever worked for us! They’re so good.
This is something that you may want to splurge on. It has THE BEST reviews.
44. Boppy Minky Two-Sided Plush Feeding & Infant Support Pillow
I’ve tried 3 other versions of the Boppy and keep coming back to it. It’s the best and easiest to use!
45. Skip Hop 3-Stage Activity Center
We got this as a gift for Christmas and can’t wait to use. He’s not quite old enough but I know he’s going to love this little play gym in a few months!
You will definitely need a few of these. They’re the softest and I love the patterns. My favorite!!
What are your tried and true favorites? If you are already a mom, leave them below with a link so we can add them or people who come across this post can use it as a resource! I hope that you feel less overwhelmed by knowing what you may want and take some suggestions from some seasoned mamas!
