Fall is the best time of the year to try new wines and recipes! It’s time for crisp, cooler weather and lots of fun tailgating with friends! I know so many of you are wine lovers, like myself, so I’m so excited to be teaming up with Llano Wines to share 2 easy wine recipes for fall! Texas is known for many things, but few are better than good football and good wine!
It’s always fun to get together with friends and have a little wine night! I persuaded my good friend, Jordan, to come take pictures with me and of course she said yes because who turns down wine? Ha! We love Llano Wines because it’s always great to support local West Texas businesses but also their wines are top notch!
Llano is one of my go-to wines when shopping in the grocery store because the price point is great and the taste is unbeatable! I am personally a fan of the chardonnay and the cabernet. We are HUGE beef eaters in our family, so the cab is a perfect pairing for this wine! The grapes sourced for this wine come from several Texas and West Texas vineyards. The medium-bodied cabernet is a deep red with hints of oak which serves as the perfect healthy complement for meals.
I also really love the Llano Estacado Chardonnay! It’s perfect for adding to those fall recipes, which are included below. The crisp and fresh fruit taste are perfect if you don’t want something heavy. I tend to keep both of these wines on hand depending on my mood!
