We all know that Valentine’s Day is near, but don’t forget about your gal pals! Don’t we all need a reason to celebrate the friends in our lives (and get together with coffee and good food)? I know I’m not turning down some girl time! Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th one day before Valentine’s Day! This year, Jordan and I are celebrating by grabbing coffee and going to breakfast in our favorite LOFT gear. So get ready to plan a day date, a wine date, any kind of date with your best gals! My girlfriends and I are always needing a reason to get together! Someone’s birthday – let’s go out! Someone’s cooking? I’m coming over! Someone is having a baby? I’M THERE. I am lucky to have some of the best friends in the entire world, and what better way to celebrate them than spending time together!?
Jordan, one of my closest friends, and I get together any chance we can get! We share a love for coffee, makeup, food, clothes, reading, food….did I already mention that? Ha! Seriously, we can get together to watch a show together or meet for coffee…no matter what we are doing; we’re having a great time together! Jordan is also a really great friend to my little girls…they LOVE her! I love that about her. Besides being a great friend, she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! That’s so important when having good friends. She’s a GREAT friend and treats me like a sister!
She even shares a love for LOFT with me! We are always texting about what’s in our cart and what’s catching our eye! She helps me pick my favorites for the blog sometimes, too! I am wearing this sweater and really love this one, too! Jordan loved this one and how cute are her polka dot detail jeans? I’m obsessed! Celebrating friendships is something we don’t always think about doing! I know I am so thankful for my girls, but I don’t always take the time to tell them how much they mean to me! What are some ways to celebrate friendships? There are so many ways you can show your gals some love: coffee date, exchange gifts, meet for a movie, grab a drink, watch a movie at home, order pizza and binge Netflix…the list goes on! This Galentine’s Day (or this month) I encourage you to take some time for the gals in your life to spend a few hours (or even a weekend getaway) to show them how special they are to you! Candy doesn’t hurt, too. 😉
