DAY 1
@bahamarresorts – sharing our itinerary for those of you who are asking / traveling to Bahamas!! We stayed at @grandhyattbahamar but there are 3 hotels property! @slsbahamar and @rosewoodbahamar are the other two. we will try Rosewood next time and wish we had rooms there! We did 2 connecting rooms for our family of 5 and it worked perfectly!
Night 1 dinner: Carna – 5/10 was the most busy and our least favorite. Wouldn’t go back there TBH. Casino was great and reminded us a lot of the Wynn!! Shops are great too!
Drinks at rosewoods manor bar was the best!
Day 2
@andi_morris13 and I did the spa! 10/10 on deep tissue massage, 4/10 on amenities (no whirlpool, steam room was okay, sauna was good) service 10/10 then we did a cabana at deans blue pool and the beach
Night 2: dinner at Marcus 9/10 one of our favorite nights and the food / service was worth the price
Things to keep in mind when going: there is VAT tax on everything. Bahamas is the most expensive place we’ve been, budget for that. This place was at capacity and we had reservations but still waited at most places. It was PACKED. The weather was mid 70s so chilly at times in January! We didn’t plan for that and it really put a damper on water park and pool time!
Do the VIP fast track service for traveling. It saves a ton of time and helped with the larger group we had! We used @nextexittravels to book everything and Haleigh was amazing!!
We took a nanny! More on that but she was AMAZING and 10/10 we’re adopting her 🤣 it allowed us to have friend time as well as family time so it was definitely something we’d do again. It was like we got 2 trips in one!
Day 3
we chartered a private boat for our group and had the best day! It included a jet ski, paddle boards and snorkeling gear! They took us to Rose Island for the day and then back! We did dinner at @katsuyagroup at @bahamarresorts for adults (sushi and Japanese) and the kids and Mary Kate did Pizza Lab! Note: the note was private so I don’t have the name, it went through a broker and it’s not a company I can share. Also wanted to note that you need reservations in advance for all dinners / cabanas so don’t wait to make those if you’re going! Will be sharing day 4 & 5 too so check back for more! I had way too many good photos each day and also just enjoyed the time away while there so I’m sharing now after we’re home!

Day 4
Day 4 we did breakfast at the buffet followed by walking through the shops to the water park and got a cabana at Baha Bay Beach Club! This cabana was by far better than the other one we got and came with 2 pool chairs too! It was chilly this day so we didn’t get to enjoy much of the water or sun, but still enjoyed the views and food! We ordered from the poolside menu & it was so good! Dinner was at Filia the Italian restaurant. It was good – not as good as the sushi and Marcus but was pretty good still!
Day 5
was our last day and Mary Kate, our nanny, had the kiddos while the adults golfed at Royal Blue Golf Club. It was probably the day I didn’t want to do the most and it ended up being the most fun! My golf outfit is @badbirdiegolf and perfect for Bahamas golf! Mary Kate had the kids at the water park and did sugar factory and ice cream runs! They had a blast!! We did an adult dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant Cleo and kids got room service!
A few things to note: apparently January in Bahamas is cold / high was low 70s. It’s also VERY crowded / overbooked and overpriced for this time. We knew this going in to the trip but had already booked so we just had to go with it, but if we go again it will be a different time of year for sure and we would say at @rosewoodbahamar over the other two hotels on property!
Let me know any other questions you may have and I’m happy to answer as best as I can!
Book reservations now if you’ve already booked the hotel! Chairs are limited so if you’re able to, get cabanas! Rosewood is less busy which is why we would do that moving forward and cabanas aren’t as needed!
